New Beginings and new Seasons!

Well it’s been a while since I have posted but I am about to announce something very exciting! It’s been almost 4 years since we have tried for our 3rd child and hubby and I have now agreed that we are going to look at other alternatives to growing our family!
So we are in our phase of Adoption and really really excited about what God has instore for us. WE have thought, prayed and seeked God for a long time about this and know in our hearts that this is what God wants for us. It’s always been something on our hearts and so we have complete peace in our hearts. We are busy compiling our Profile now for the agency to present to the Birth mother, I didn’t think it would be so hard but it is so personal and you are really opening your heart to her. We have received letters already from our family members for the profile and I have been in a ball of tears already. God is going to entrust us with a beautiful bonny baby to take care of and love and feel so pregnant in my spirit already! He has already been growing the love in my heart for our Adoptive baby whom we have not met yet! Isnt He is amazing!!!!
So I will update you on the process and the trials and successes on Adoption as we go along 
I found this little saying and thought I would share it with you, it touched me deeply!!

It has been said that adoption is more like a marriage than a birth: two (or more) individuals, each with their own unique mix of needs, patterns, and genetic history, coming together with love, hope, and commitment for a joint future. You become a family not because you share the same genes, but because you share love for each other.

The long 2 week wait :)

Well Paul and I definitely managed to cover all our bases this month....heheheheehe but along comes that dreaded 2 week wait..lol! I am sure all of you going through this feels like the weeks are going in slow motion.

Tomorrow I am due to go for the Progesterone test so will fill you in if I did indeed pass an egg. Secretly I am really hoping and praying that I did but its all in Your hands Lord! Your perfect timing, your perfect will for our lives!

Good news is that since I am on Metformin I do not have the bad side effects that I experienced when I was on Glucophage so yay for that!!

Something about Hope to encourage you :)

God's Grace

"What gives me the most hope every day is God’s grace; knowing that his grace is going to give me the strength for whatever I face, knowing that nothing is a surprise to God."

Rick Warren

Till next time :)

Welcome back to me :)

Oh gosh, I cannot believe that its been 2 years since I have posted. My life has been a rollercoaster of emotions. Paul and I are still trying for baby no 3. It has really been extremely challenging as Dana is still in our bed now 3 years old...lol. Apart from that, its been a struggle, a spiral of emotions. Ive been back to the doctor and my PCOS is still there so I started my Glucophage again and Clomid. In these 3 years we have gone all natural so its time we start the other methods God has put in place to enable us to conceive. Time is ticking away, I am 31 years old and Dana needs a brother or sister :)

This is my 3rd cycle on Clomid so lets see where this journey will take me. Its been a while, so please bear with me. God knows our hearts, our thoughts, our emotions, our life, our struggles, our great moments, our not so great moments and in ending I would like to say give those moments to Jesus, He loves us so much and wants to be with us and experience them with us.

Today you are so loved by the Father, it is through this journey of TTC I realise I just cannot do without HIM, I have tried but I always come back to the Great I am. Its so easy dealing through the pain with Him, Paul and I cannot get through it without the Lover of our Souls, Jesus thank you for walking this journey with us.

Once again I look forward to giving You honour and praise for the miracle that will unfold in my life again. We have experienced miracles so for those who doesnt believe in them, our life is a walking talking miracle.

Dont give up on whatever you trusting God for. Its not our timing but HIS, not our thoughts and plans but HIS, continue to walk in your purpose set out and all other things will be added on. Never give up never give in, keep on believing.

Hope is the one thing that keeps us going, walk steadfastly in it. Its manna to the soul :)
Thanks for coming along and my apologies for not updating regularly, I promise I will be making a post once a week from here on out.
Be blessed :)

Back again on the TTC Wagon

There is something about life that makes you always want to come back for more, that is the miracle of life, the joy and blessing of a child. So my dear husband and I have decided we would like to try again for Number 3. Even though our road of TTC (Trying to Conceive) has not been an easy one, there have been many brilliant moments and memories. So yes we have been through alot but I do believe every cycle is different and has its own difficulties and struggles.

Our biggest struggle this time is actually trying to Babydance. With a 1yr old sleeping in your bed still, you need to find time...lol, but thanks to God we have found time as it is on our Priority list. We felt now that Dana is 1 it will be a good time to start trying again for a sibling. So please pray for us!

On another note:
God has been working and speaking into my life so much recently. I have received confirmations on so many things and it is time I step out into the Purpose God has for me. I am so excited to do the will and calling He has for my life.

My heart is for women who struggle to conceive or have had miscarriages and losses. I will continue to pray for Our women, its a journey of pain and heartache, my prayer is for God to comfort all of us. So I will persevere and continue to ask God to send these Women into my path so I may encourage and uplift by His Word.

Ok till next time, remember God is bigger than the problem or mountain you face.
Be strong, courageous, He will carry you through.

Welcome Back

Yes, it is definately welcome back to me. I am so sorry that I have not updated this blog for a while, having a busy little bee zooming all around can keep one quite busy. I am very proud to say that Dana is 10 months old!. Yes cant believe only 2 months away from her 1st Birthday, and plans for the celebrations are coming along, so watch this space. I am so pleased to announce that my business has come off the ground, it is Megan H Photography, and I have been so blessed by God through this. Thank you to all of you for your prayers and support, it means a whole lot to me. So photography has been keeping me pretty busy of late, but it is such an awesome feeling to create memories for families that will last a lifetime.
Here is some recent pics of Dana, she is so busy literally running-crawling and walking along all the furniture, I dont think it will be too long before we see her take her first step.
I would love to share her First Easter with you and recent pics:

Seasons greetings!!

Photobucket

Best wishes for the Season and May God's love envelope you all year through 2008.

Jesus is Better than Santa

Santa lives at the North Pole.

JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh

JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year

JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies

JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited

JESUS stands at your door and knocks... and then enters your heart.

You have to stand in line to see Santa

JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap

JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?"

JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly

JESUS has a heart full of love.

All Santa can offer is HO HO HO

JESUS offers Health, Help and Hope.

Santa says "You better not cry"

JESUS says "Cast all your cares on Me for I care for you.

Santa's little helpers make toys

JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.

Santa may make you chuckle but

JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree

JESUS became our Gift and died on the tree.

It's obvious there is really no comparison.

We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.

We need to put Christ back into Christmas.

Jesus is still the reason for the season.

May The Lord Bless & Watch Over You This Christmas And May He Prosper & Bless The Work Of Your Hands In The New Year

GOD BLESS

Welcome to my journey

Thank you for coming along on this journey with me. It is my prayer that whoever reads this blog would be blessed by my story. Please know that whatever you face in this world is only temporary, but life with Jesus is eternal. May you know that whatever trial you go through, The Father walks with you, and every trial is there to make you grow stronger as a person and in faith. May you know that life is wonderful despite circumstances around you, because God in your life makes it devine, and your reason for existence is finally met with purpose, don't give up on your dreams and hopes, hopes will be restored once again in your life, dreams will be fulfilled, and joy will come again, because as the scripture says: Though your sorrow may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning, so whatever season you may be going through, whether it be winter or autumn, know that your season of joy is coming, spring, where new flowers bloom and hope is restored.
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills— where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. - Psalm 121: 1-2
